This data layer is an element of the Oregon GIS Framework. This 1994 theme displays the Public Land Survey System of Oregon without the donation land claim areas. It was derived from the PLSS theme by the Oregon CAD/CAM shop.
This layer is based on the US Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB) coordinate data where it exists in Oregon. The remaining area not covered by the GCDB has been filled in with transformed data snapped to the BLM's section grid.
